Nest is proud to announce the launch of its latest thought leadership and education series, #WhatsGood. Through the implementation of thought-provoking panel discussions, as well as deep learning techniques such as case studies and curated in-depth presentations, #WhatsGood seeks to go beyond the surface by providing technical advice, tangible solutions and intellectual thought-leadership surrounding the most pressing challenges currently facing Africa’s business sectors. #WhatsGood simply asks ‘What’s Good?’ out there now, and helps the attendee learn and be informed about the issue his or her business faces.
The inaugural event, #WhatsGood Data Privacy & GDPR, supported by Microsoft will take place on the 19th of June from 6:00pm – 8:30pm at Mettā Nairobi. The event will provide an intellectual debate and educational platform through which attendees can understand the genesis, implications, and most importantly, best practices surrounding GDPR and data privacy in Kenya. We’ll review the fundamentals, as well as discuss the most pressing issues surrounding these topics from a regulatory, enforcement, compliance, innovation, and ethical standpoint. We’ll additionally provide numerous presentations, case studies, and other tangible educational platforms so as to help businesses and individuals prepare for and become GDPR compliant. Contextually, we’ll cover many regions but focus extensively on Kenya and Africa as a whole.
On behalf of Nest Group Africa and Mettā Nairobi, we hope to see you there.
