Growing up, or as we now call it adulting.

A couple of things have been streaming through my mind through this insomnia. And I felt the need to share.

There has been a lot of conversation in the recent past around health and well-being. Everyone from Charlamagne on the breakfast club who wrote a book around mental health which I do recommend you read. To newspaper articles and YouTube videos of several people and companies talking about Depression.

I just turned one year older about two days ago and there are a number of things I have reflected on. Career, life, family. And you will soon realize there is quite a lot of pressures in life people go through sometimes it’s hard to share but also sometimes the people close to us might never understand.

There is a lot of things happening in my life today that heavily I fluence the choices I have and will make from pressures from family to pressures from work to pressures of life in general. Sometimes they might look very simple on face value but there are a number of circumstances we find ourselves that will make our decisions affect us positively or negatively.

So I urge you, young person, out there, here are some of the ways I have dealt with some of the difficult decisions

  1. TALK TO SOMEONE
  2. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE
  3. DON’T HOLD GRUDGES/ACCEPT AND MOVE ON
  4. It’s NEVER THAT SERIOUS
  5. PARENTS STOP PILING UNNECESSARY PRESSURES ON YOUR CHILDREN.
  6. STOP AND DO A SELF CHECK
  7. PERSPECTIVE, PERSPECTIVE , PERSPECTIVE
  8. TAKE A BREAK.

let me know what you think on the comments.
